Warm weather favorable for Fitchburg Days fun

May always brings Fitchburg Days, and this year, things are looking good.

Weather is always a concern for the May 18-20 festival at McKee Farms Park, but organizer Steven Streck sees a sunny future.

"I'm always worried about (the weather), but the forecast is great," said Streck, who is the vice president of the Fitchburg Board of Directors.

That's always a boon because they've had rainy weather a couple of years ago, and that correlates with attendance, he said.

"The nicer the weather is, the more people attend," he said.
